PAMMYROO- single is the new pink

Lack of blogging no more…

I just figured out that I can blog easily on my iPad using the WordPress app. It only took me three months to figure that one out.

I’ve been brainstorming some fun things to spice up the late winter days, but I’m sure my recent vacation to the Caribbean was the high point.

Blogging excuses…

Without a computer, blogging has been quite difficult. I’m in the process of getting a new one, and plan to make some little tweeks to this site, and upload some pictures on a regular basis. Curently I am using my iPad to post, and it’s just not that easy to post more than a few sentences. So there you have it.

In the meantime, I’ll be enjoying the snow with my dog, and snuggling under the covers looking at the latet edition of Rue!

My second resolution for the new year is to spend at least one weekend a month at home, with little or nothing on the agenda(and not feel guilty about it). This was that weekend for me, and although I wasn’t complete useless, I was quite lazy and unproductive. There was tv-watching, reading, house chores, and puppies to occupy my time, and of course a few naps. And I’ve been working on a few projects, some for this blog and other hobbies. My next step is to take more pictures.

Saturday night solo-style

It’s been over a week since I last posted, and I have no excuse. This evening I’m watching Miss America and snuggling with my puppy. I really enjoy a quiet evening at home, especially after running around all last weekend.

I find Miss America entertaining, and have no shame judging along with the others. Wearing flannel pajamas and fuzzy slippers makes it more enjoyable. I’m cheering for Tennessee!

Single life has its perks: I can do whatever I want, whenever I want!

My first New Year’s Resolution is to take at least one trip a month. This includes weekend road-trips, vacations, study trips, and visiting friends in other cities. My first trip is this weekend: NYC. I’ve spent a lot of time in this city, but every time I go I find new things to love about it. This weekend’s itinerary includes the opera, brunch with a friend, shopping, a trip to the MoMa, and possibly a date or two (more or that later). I may try to meet up with a few other friends, but we’ll see how much I can squeeze in to two days. Pictures to come!
